Hi. What control surface would you recommend for that soft synth? Scott----- Original Message ----- From: "Darren H" <darren@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

I think if you spend time with it and use it with a control surface, then itis perfectly possible. Omnisphere doesn't have a playable demo because it's library is nearly 50 gb in size. It's worth every penny if that helps. Most of the other sounds had a rough texture to them (that's really the only way I can describe it) and don't sound right with the trailing reverb. I hadn't heard of Sylenth1 until reading about it on this list, and have been playing with the demo for awhile. Compared to Vanguard, I think this one sounds amazing. As for Omnisphere, I've heardsome of the demos for it, but am weary of purchasing it because there's noplayable demo as far as I know. Whenever possible, I like to try before I buy. As for programming VST synths, how would you go about layering a sound, or even programming a brand new one? I've always used just the presets, but the idea of creating your own sounds has fascinated me. Thanks.
