you don't have to be in Asio mode.
in Asio mode you can't see the wave profiler.

the last button on the genral page is asio pannel and before that isbuffer
size, Alt+w does nothing. Thanks, are you using sonar 4?

On the general page of the audio options dialog, Wave Profiler is the last
button before the OK button. Make sure you're on the general page of this
multi-page dialog, and tab through until you land on wave profiler. By
the
way, Alt+W is the hotkey for wave profiler. When in the general page,
just
press alt+w and that will start wave profiler.
