You might be thinking of [vss] and [vse] (visibility suppress start/end). They might be part of 10.4; I can't remember. They were mainly put in to help with tables of contents to make it possible to put in a header that would be present in the table of contents but not in the text where the ToC entry appears.

Recently, mention was made of a command which would tell DBTwin
not to emboss some user designated text.  If this is available in
version 10.4, would someone be so kind as to refresh my memory as
to the code, giving an example of proper usage.
