Come on now, lets think about this.
If you format a document based on a set of embosser page dimensions, and
then someone outputs the file at a different set of dimensions, potentially
throwing off the table of contents, etc. etc. would you not want the
software to at least tap you on the shoulder and ask you if this was a good
idea? Of course you would!
Now, lets say you are just getting set up and have not done any serious
formatting and keep changing the page dimensions. Would you expect the
software to be able to know that you are not attached to any page
dimension? This would seem unlikely. Yes, sometimes software alets you to
something which is not important.
When Duxbury DBT brings up this alert box, it is just trying to prevent you
from making an error.
You as the human, can just press OK, and continue on. There is no need to
write this up as a technical problem. The fasts are you changed the page
dimensions. DBT is just making sure you know this before you waste any paper.

Hi George,
I have just tried this, and a message has appeared that says "Warning -
Duxbury has updated your embosser settings" and then gives the old format
to what I changed the line length to and the new format to what I changed
it from originally. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi Karina,
For existing or individual documents use "Document: Embosser Setup".
For all new documents, use Global: Embosser Setup, selecting your default
embosser.
George.

Hi List Members,
Please can someone advise me on how to adjust the number of characters
brailled per line, and the number of lines per page?
Thank you for your help.
