Thanks.  I did check the extension and it said .dxb.  That's why I thought 
it had been translated.  Thanks to Betsy, it's all good, now.

The pattern files I have downloaded from Lion Brand are text files.  It says 
they are formatted for braille, but they are not actually braille files.  I 
suggest double checking the file extension. Hopefully importing as a print 
file and translating will work.
