Could the Save/Discard dialogue already in DBT be utilised/extended so
that, whenever you open Duxbury, it will prompt if there are 'temporary'
Duxbury files - whether in print, braille, or imported into DBT - that

been 'properly' saved nor properly closed? Kurzweil 1000 (for example)
has an option whereby if the last file was not properly saved because of
a crash or other reason, it lets you know when you re-open it. "Note:
The last file was not properly saved. If you would like to open it,
press the Accept key ...") and you have an option to press another key
to cancel that dialogue and resume operation otherwise.
DBT's file recovery has always been a bit of a puzzle to me. You have the option of deleting the temporary files from a previous run, but I've never figured out what advantage there is to keeping them. Your suggestion sounds very straightforward.
