Hello Karina and list:

The cabinet I have seen used with the Index is a floor standing unit with
a curved top. The cabinet has a power cord and a fan to keep it cool. The Index
is placed inside under the curved top. Below the embosser is a place for blank
paper. It has been some time since I have had my hands on one of these cabinets
so I don't recall if the embossed paper comes out a slot, or is collected in
the bottom of the cabinet. I can tell you that the cabinet does make the Index
a much quieter embosser. Hope this helps.

Robert Jaquiss

  Hi all,

Sorry for cross-posting this message, but I am wondering if someone can help
me please?

I have got an Index Budget Basic Embosser, and I have been reading some
literature that I picked up from Sight Village, and there is mention of a
cabinet for the embosser specifically. Please can someone explain to me what
they are like if anyone knows, like, whether they have anywhere that the papers
goes when it has been embossed, say if it was a long document, or if there is
anywhere that the paper sits whilst it is still joined to the line of paper
waiting to be embossed on?

Thank you for your help, and I hope to hear from you soon.

  Karina
