Karina,

In general, these cabinets have a slot in the bottom which allows the paper to come up from below, and a slot on the back through which the embossed paper exits. Since I'm not familiar with the Index, I can't be more specific than that. Having had some experience with cabinets for other embossers, however, I find that although these cabinets make things a little quieter, they take up lots of space and create potential paper jamming problems. I recommend that you take a look at any cabinet before you buy it, as they are often quite expensive.

Hi all,

Sorry for cross-posting this message, but I am wondering if someone can help me please?

I have got an Index Budget Basic Embosser, and I have been reading some literature that I picked up from Sight Village, and there is mention of a cabinet for the embosser specifically. Please can someone explain to me what they are like if anyone knows, like, whether they have anywhere that the papers goes when it has been embossed, say if it was a long document, or if there is anywhere that the paper sits whilst it is still joined to the line of paper waiting to be embossed on?

Thank you for your help, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Karina
