I am still here, just havent had time to do what I want. LOL

Am using XP, and running the demo of DBT. I have not yet started using speech but must soon so am going to ask which screen reader seems to work best overall. Will it be JAWS? Or will it be Window Eyes? I am not the best at learning new stuff so rather than spend lots of time not only leanring but evaluatiing the software, will go with the flow.

Also, it was suggested I use a braille display for checking work in DBT. I have a Braille Lite but dont want to connect and disconnect it all the time. Think a dedicated display is in my nbest interests. 40 or 60 cell or ? And what brands. I know nothing about this kind of hardware.

Am going to apply for a grant for the software. Am not going to add a braille display at this time, why push my luck? Will go for screen reader, DBT, and perhaps K1000.

Thanks for reading. By the way, I am reading the fourth Harry Potter book. That is why the BLT cannot be the dedicated display, it goes out with me a lot. LOL
