DANCING DOTS RELEASES GOODFEEL 3.0 BRAILLE MUSIC TRANSLATOR

Today Dancing Dots announces the release of version 3 of its GOODFEEL
Braille music Translator software. Since 1997, educators, parents and
students have used GOODFEEL, the world's first braille music translator, to
quickly and automatically produce braille music materials on their Windows
PC.

GOODFEEL Version 3 breaks new ground in the automatic transcription of music
into braille. Here are just a few of the firsts:

. Quickly transcribe to braille from Finale, Sibelius and other popular
music notation software used by band, orchestra and choir directors.
. Synchronized display of print and braille notation for current musical
measure.
. Ships with Lime 8 which simplifies entering of text annotations and has a
new MusicXML import/export feature.
. Blind GOODFEEL users can now scan, read and write musical scores with the
Lime notation editor via the new Lime Aloud JAWS- based features.
. Multimedia presentation of score information via Lime Aloud: musical cue,
verbal description and shown on braille display.
. Blind musicians can independently create print and equivalent braille
transcriptions for collaboration with sighted or blind teachers,
colleagues or students.
. Friendlier user interface to permit easier customization of braille music
output.
. Optional integration with the Duxbury (literary) Braille Translator to
facilitate transcription of theory or method books that have large blocks of
expository text.
