Hi, Chris,

I was Brailling a flyer for the Discovery Conference last night and really had a time with it. the first page has two lines of Braille, a picture of a guide dog with his harness, and two more lines of Braille. The second page is all text. If I made the two pages a single document, Duxbury inserted a blank page between them. formatting the second, I needed to look at the text with the Braille display, but it didn't appear there. Ho hum! JAWS 8 was better, but not a lot better.

I finally Brailled 10 page 1's, one at a time so I could back up and print on the skipped page; then 10 page 2's. then I collated, stripped off the paper feeds, and stapled. I can't figure out why page 1 needed a blank after it. But I wont anyway.

I have this great picture of a guide dog, harness handle in the air, facing from left to right as though he were on your left side. Only problem is that reading from left to right you find his tale first. I'm thinking no blink is going to recognize the picture as a dog. Oh, well.

lol, I have not heard this trouble yet, There was a bit of trouble if you are using WindowsVista with JAWS 9, Microsoft didn't apparently send the whole script to Freedom Scientific when they designed JAWS 9. I am not sure if that is true, but that is what I've heard, maybe this is just one of those glitches that comes along with the fun. Do you use Vista? or XP? * * *
