Hi Susie,
DBT's "status line" is not the bottom line of the screen, so you have to
move the Jaws cursor up one line to get the information you want. Also, if
you're showing codes, the line/column/page information doesn't appear at
all. I defined a frame for reading that information, and use F12 to read
the frame. I could send you the frame definition, but you might have to
tweak it to get it to work on your machine. Frames are supposed to work
independently of window size, but in my experience that's not always the
case. If you like, I'd be happy to talk you through defining a frame on
the phone.
