Hi George

I tried that also and it didn't work The text file saved only the slide
numbers.

I'm wondering why this is happening? Why can you read the tables in the
original word document but not import them to duxbury or save them to text?
Very strange indeed.

As a stop-gap, emergency measure, save the Word file as a text file.
You may be lucky and at least get some text.

George.

Hi folks

Came across something very perculiar.

I exported a powerpoint slide sho to word. When I opened the word document
with Jaws and word 2003 everything read right. Things were organised in
tables without any problems.

When I imported the same file into dbt 10.7, only the slide number showed
and the rest of the text was not imported into DBT although you can
definitely read it in the original word document.

Why is this and how can it be fixed?

I need to print out these presentations in braille.

Andre
