Andre,
When you say you can read it in Word, are you reading it with a screen reader? We have had files that look like Word documents but the words in the slides are actually a graphic and you can't import them into dbt that way. If you are using a screen reader or braille display and are able to read everything in Word, then I don't know the answer to your question, but if you are looking at the file and it looks okay but won't import properly, then you'll need to get the words from those text boxes into actual words rather than a graphical image of the text.

Subject: [duxuser] Duxbury does not import the complete word document

Hi folks
Came across something very perculiar.
I exported a powerpoint slide sho to word. When I opened the word document
with Jaws and word 2003 everything read right. Things were organised in
tables without any problems.
When I imported the same file into dbt 10.7, only the slide number showed
and the rest of the text was not imported into DBT although you can
definitely read it in the original word document.
Why is this and how can it be fixed?
I need to print out these presentations in braille.
Andre
