I'm inclined to suggest you start with Enabling Techologies in Florida
who manufacture the Romeo 25. They should be able to advise you mon
some tests to check out the hardware.

Subject: [duxuser] Embosser Help
I am a Teacher using an old Romeo 25 embosser, Dux 10-6, with a
MacBook Pro computer. I run Parallels virtual pc software which is
how I run my Duxbury. Everything was fine until about a week ago.
When embossing, my embosser started quitting on line 12 and shooting
through the paper no matter what I tried to emboss.
Not sure where the issue is, embosser?, software? cable (parallel
printer to USB)?. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
