As promised.....
Subject: Hint for word users

This hint came to me from a colleague who does Braille translation and
is very helpful in pre-preparation of forms with fill in the blanks. If
you replace all the repeated characters with a shorter one such as
(space provided) the forms are much more readable for the user.

WORD SEARCH AND REPLACE HINT[- OR _]

To change any number of underscores to a single double dash OR (Hyphens)
in Word, do the following:

Ctrl H to start Find and Replace

Click More (Alt M) to expand the dialog box Check Use wildcards (Alt U)
Find what: _{1,} [you are looking for 1 or more underscores]

Replace with: or space provided (include spaces)

Click Replace all (Alt A)

For example,

This is _ a test.

This is __ a test.

This is ___ a test.

This is ____ a test.

The above can be removed and replaced with a single - or any word phrase
you choose.

Thank you!
