Hope you already got an answer! But, if not, DBT has a place where you need
to check first page number to display. It needs to be set to 1. I think this
is in the embosser settings within DBT.

Subject: [duxuser] First page number not being placed/printed
I have received a bunch of single-page BRF files from an instructor to be
printed. Mostly they are fine and I have no issues. However, one of the
files is supposed to be labeled as page "1" and it just:won't. I've set the
page number to "1" under the layout options and I have also set page
numbering under document options so that "first page number to display:" is
also "1".
If I set the page number to 2 or higher, it is placed and printed. If I make
it 1, it just doesn't. I have compared the code to other files with page
numbering working fine and I cannot see any difference.
I ~assume~ there is some override telling the system not to show/print "page
1" for any reason, but as I said, I have changed the setting under document
page numbering. I'm just stumped. What am I missing?
