Good morning all, can any one tell me what the resolution was for the page
numbering issue? I am having the same problem! Everything in my document menu
and in the embosser settings say page 1 first displayed. Any ideas why this
might be happening.

Correction. About the LAYOUT menu, I wrote it backwards. It says to SET
PAGHE no. to the following page. So you need to go above your page 1. You
may not care to experiment with that. Julia

Unfortunately no, that is what is NOT working. I've set the page number to "1"
under the layout options and I have ALSO set page numbering under document
options so that "first page number to display:" is also "1". If I set the page
number to 2 or higher, it is placed and printed. If I make it 1, it just
doesn't. If there are two or more pages, the correct page number is printed on
the second page but not the first. I have compared the code to other files with
page numbering working fine and I cannot see any difference. So, there must be
some other setting somewhere?

Actually, the setting you want is in the Document Menu under Page Numbering.

Hope you already got an answer! But, if not, DBT has a place where you need to
check first page number to display. It needs to be set to 1. I think this is in
the embosser settings within DBT.

Subject: [duxuser] First page number not being placed/printed
I have received a bunch of single-page BRF files from an instructor to be
printed. Mostly they are fine and I have no issues. However, one of the files
is supposed to be labeled as page "1" and it just...won't. I've set the page
number to "1" under the layout options and I have also set page numbering under
document options so that "first page number to display:" is also "1".
If I set the page number to 2 or higher, it is placed and printed. If I make it
1, it just doesn't. I have compared the code to other files with page numbering
working fine and I cannot see any difference.
I ~assume~ there is some override telling the system not to show/print "page 1"
for any reason, but as I said, I have changed the setting under document > page
numbering. I'm just stumped. What am I missing?
