We have Windows 10 and Duxbury 12.2 SR1. Ours is a 5 users licence on an
Education Network, however only 5 computers that our resource centre have
access to.
My main concern is when I am producing number lines, table, shapes etc in
braille the dots/cells do not line up. I'm not sure if this because of the
error message we get and the fact that SimBraille is not working even though it
is the font that is checked, hence no 'ghosting' of unused cells.

Hi Sue,
Can you explain a little more about how you have DBT set up.
Is your network controlled by a Windows Server, and if so which version or
Server?
Do you have the five licenses on a server, where any network user can run DBT,
or is it installed on specific machines. If in doubt, can you tell us if it
comes up saying "1 of 5", "2 of 5" when users run DBT?
We run DBT 12.3 sr1 here on a Windows 2016 server, which has not been an easy
transition. Microsoft have understandably become almost paranoid about
security, and this has caused us some grief.

Hi all,
We have only just updated our networked computers to Windows 10 and have 12.2
Duxbury. We have a sight license for 5 computers.
We have noticed three things that have changed. We get this error message every
time we log on.
[cid:image001.jpg@01D46D0D.0DD4F690]
The font is different on the screen, there is no ghosting of the six dots in
each braille cell (un-used dots) but can't see anywhere to change the font so
that we have this ghosting again.
Also, when we try to line up the cells when doing contents page or creating
shapes etc it can appear to be a cell out, although once embossed or printed it
looks fine. Just very hard when producing.
Not sure if it happening due to being networked as a staff member of ours has
Duxbury at home with Windows 10 and doesn't have these issues.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
