Carmela,
Let's see if I understand you correctly. You said:

In print it shows the paragraphs spacing on cell 3

Do you mean the first word in each paragraph starts in cell 3, with the
rest out at the margin (cell 1)?

I think the problem is that .rtf gives no indication (to DBT) of where
paragraphs start and end. DBT just gets a command to start on a new
line. It normally ignores multiple spaces in a row, so that the braille
won't have 2 spaces between sentences like print usually has. If tabs
are used without being defined with tab set codes, I think it uses 2
spaces per tab.

Here's what you can do:
First, in the imported .dxp file, turn the Code view on (F3) and find
out what code is located at the end of each paragraph. It is probably
[<], the carriage return. What you want is the new paragraph code, [p],
which you can get with the shortcut Ctrl-M. So

Second, replace the code that's there with the [p] and get rid of the
two spaces at the beginning of the paragraphs. You can do this
manually, or do a Search-and-Replace to do it in the entire document.

To do that, start with your cursor at the beginning of the document.
Press F6 to bring up the Search and Replace dialog. In the "Text to
find" box, type: Ctrl-[ < Now use the rt.-arrow key to get beyond the
red ] that automatically comes up and hit the space bar twice. (You are
searching for a carriage return followed by 2 spaces.) In the Replace
with: box, type Ctrl-[ p (The closing bracket is again there
automatically.) Press enter or click OK to start the search. A "Confirm
Replace" dialog comes up. You can press enter repeatedly to say yes to
each replacement or click "All" (type "a") to do it all at once.

Finally, you'll have to delete the 2 spaces in front of the first
paragraph and type ctrl-M there.

Now it should translate like you want it.

Hope I haven't left anything out!

I scanned a document in block form. I saved in
Rtf format and pasted on DBT.

In print it shows the paragraphs spacing on cell 3 but when I translate
it, it only shows one space indention.

How can I make it to translate as the replica of the print?

P.S. Should I use another format?
