Since this is of general interest to all of our users, I'm addressing this reply to everyone. If anyone on Duxuser needs help with a specific license, please contact me privately off the list at <info@xxxxxxxxxx>. HITTING REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE WILL POST YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION TO EVERYONE ON DUXUSER.

If your original license came on a floppy license diskette, your license file is still on it. You can load the file from the floppy. If you don't have a floppy drive, please email us privately (SEE WARNING ABOVE) for help.

If your original license came on a yellow license card, you can always refer to the license card for the text in both print and braille. One thing to note is that there is a space between the DBT and the rest of the license information. At least one braille reader has reported not being able to detect that the space was there. We are looking into that issue.

Update customers continue using whatever license floppy or license card was issued with their original software purchase. For their convenience we also print the license text on the invoice/packing slip which comes with the update.

Anyone who cannot access their license using one of the above methods can contact us at info@xxxxxxxxxx to see if we will be able to help you. AGAIN, PLEASE DO NOT HIT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE IF YOU NEED HELP WITH A SPECIFIC LICENSE. IT COULD DISCLOSE YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION TO EVERYONE.

Best regards,

Anne Ronco

It was necessary for me to reinstall both DBT 10.5 and DBT 1006 and I was asked to load the license file but in addition to the serial number the digits 6239 were added at the end. It took me a while to figure how to do this and I still can't remember how to do it.

Can anybody give me step by step instructions to do this if ever my computer crashes again?
