Someone had mentioned on the list about having a student who had difficulty because JAWS was reading everything. I didn't see this answer anywhere so thought to throw in my two cents' worth. In the JAWS menu, there are different settings that can be set so that JAWS won't read everything. Also, I think there's a button where you can cut on or off the Tutorial feature which gives a lot of prompts. I rarely go into the JAWS menu but if you still need help with the settings please let me know off list and I'll try and play a little with the menu and be more able to give exact instructions. I'm sure no experet but I've gone from wanting JAWS to tell me everything to wanting JAWS to be very selective about what it tells me.
