The SYSTRAN software (the one behind Altavista's Web translation) can do
English to Korean translation. See

However, as you are probably already aware, such translations generally
require human clean-up, depending on your purpose.
(Recently I put a Portuguese letter through such software. It began "Caros
amigos," which even I could easily understand, so I was a little startled
when the software coughed it up as "Expensive friends,".)
I looked into Korean braille about 10 years ago and did enough work on it
to convince myself it was quite feasible with our methods because Hangul
writing is based upon a very sensible underlying alphabet. The project
didn't go further at that time, but very recently we have been in touch
with business partners in Korea who have expressed interest. So it is
likely that a future version of DBT will have Korean, but NOT at all likely
that it will be in the very next version. There is software available from
Korea that can translate Korean to Korean braille, however. If you are
interested, please write to me off-list and I'll try to track it down.
