David,
are you able to attach the word and DBT files of your examples. I can't
recreate your problem, so there must be something happening at your end.
Which version of DBT are you using?

Thank you Kathy and George. I usually use a hard space in phone numbers, for
example, but never between numbers.
I’m doing a Financial Report and there are pages and pages of number lists and
some (not all, thank goodness) have split on the line.
Attached below is another example I’ve noticed where the 8.00% breaks.
In the numbers, eg 88,888, I tried substituting the comma with a Q code (q~1)
but while that stopped the number breaking, it put a number symbol before the
following number.
We’ll keep plugging away at it, and will let you know if we find an answer.

I couldn't recreate your problem David, but then opened the files you attached.
The problem lies in the fact that you have put hard spaces between the numbers,
so DBT sees the all the numbers as a single string. If you replace each of the
hard spaces with a simple space, DBT will then see each number as a single item
and the problem is solved.
Hard spaces ['] in DBT or ctrl-shift-space are needed where a space is used to
show thousands and thousandths, or the break in a telephone number. But where
there is a string of separate numbers a simple space between them should be
used so they are each considered an individual item.

Hello Everyone,
The example below shows a string of numbers in a list that are breaking in the
middle of a number. Does anybody know a quick reliable way of stopping this
happening? Thank you in advance.
