Clearly something is wrong here.
I think we need a little more information, especially what DBT Template you are
using?
Can you perhaps give us an example of the erroneous equation(s)?
I have tried 5x2=10 and 5-2=3 and both are correct.
As regards greater and less than signs, again an example(s) helps.

especially I want to know why the multiplication sign appears in ueb
code with points 3 5, minus sign appear without point 5, greater and
less than signs are not translated at all but instead are replaced by a
number 227.
I am loading the .doc file into dbt 12.3
