Hello, I posted this question once before but without any response. I now have a little more info so will restate my problem with the hope someone can help. I have been sent a Megadots .brf file which I wish to open in my DBT 10.4 and emboss. I am told the Megadots file is formatted for 25 lines by 30 characters. I have changed my global embosser settings to this before opening the file. On opening the file, DBT tells me that the "page depth has been exceeded". The text is not fitting the correct number of lines as it should per page and so I am ending up with run overs for each page of about 4-5 lines. I have tried opening the file using the textbook, standard and locally created "Australian" templates. None make a difference. I choose formatted braille as the importer. Any suggestions for how I can achieve my aim of embossing this file as it was intended. I should note that I requested the print files, hoping they would be like a .dxp equivalent but I do not think I will be getting them. Thanks in advance Ramona Ramona Mandy BrailleNote Promotions Officer Pulse Data Australia 27 Palmer Street South Melbourne VIC 3205 Tel: 03 9686 2601 Fax: 02 9686 2855 Email: rmandy@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Web: www.pulsedata.com * * * * This message is via list duxuser at freelists.org. * To unsubscribe, send a blank message with * unsubscribe * as the subject to <duxuser-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
