Where can you get the full-size braille slates?

Also, is there anyone who downloads Web braille a lot and uses Duxbury to
translate? If so, would you contact me off list?

Thanks,

Deb B.

No problem. Someday I want to get a full size interpoint slate but have
not done so. I do like my 3 Janice slates 3x5 which I keep with me all
the time for short notes.

Thank you!

Brett,
You would need Optical Braille Recognition software which allows you to
scan hard-copy braille such as what you might have written on a Perkins
into the computer. Then you could make it single- or double-sided.
Alternatively, you can write out a complex layout in advance using a
Perkins, and then re-type the finished layout into your computer. It's a
lot of work, but sometimes, if you know in advance what words will land
under each other and how much space certain tabular things take up, you
can actually save time. I'm sorry if I misled you in any way.
Catherine
