Dear Eileen,
If you are in the U.S. you can go to nfb.org/transcribers and signup for a free
20 week course. The materials are either in print or braille depending on your
needs. Only the last lesson requires either an embosser or a brailler and then
only if you want certification.

Hi Folks:
I am interested in doing the self-study Braille transcription course which of
course, doesn’t allow the use of a Braille translator. I can use Perky Duck,
which I have successfully downloaded. However, where can I find instructions
on how it works and using it?
