If you have the CD for DBT Version 10.4, the Swift utility should be on it. There are some instructions on how to save the file. When you see the "save as" dialog box you send the file as follows:

c:\program files\microsoft office\office10\startup\dbtw.dot

When you open Word again you will see reference to Duxbury Braille, etc and by clicking on the emboss icon the Word file is translated and starts the brailling process.

I think that the word "page" is in fact a page break and can be deleted.

Betsy,

The page numbers are at the top right of the page, and this word page has
appeared at the end of page 4 of the document. Still can't delete it!
Any further suggestions much appreciated, plus if anyone knows anything
about SWIFT, it would be interesting to look into.
Thanks once again.
Karina

Aloha Karina,
Check at the top of the document, with your codes turned on, alt-f3, to
see
if there is a code that tells the page number to be printed at the bottom
of each page, like a footer.
