Kathy,

One quirky thing that frustrates me is a list of numbers which should appear as "124, 251, 325" but which appears in the document as "124,251,325". Someone once told me that this kind of error happens because it's sometimes difficult to determine the presence of spaces because of the way variable width fonts appear on the screen. Or are people just being careless and sloppy?

Another quirky thing I often find is spaces before punctuation such as
question marks - the document producer thinks it looks cute!!!!
