Don, here is the Word novice technique. In Word, there is a menu item Format. Within Format, there is a setting for Tabs. Pressing <enter> will take you to a dialog with Radio Buttons. The first tab entry looks to be for you to enter the precise tab stop you desire. If you tab again, there are Radio Buttons that you can select (default), 1.5, 1.6, etc. After you select one, the next set of Radio Buttons are for designating what justification you want your tab stop, Left, Right, etc. The next selections are for leaders, if you want them. The first is for None. Then I went on around and selected OK. I entered a very tiny document in Word, with tabs and without tabs. I then translated the Word document with Duxbury. My tabs aligned right under one another. Perhaps you want something more elegant, but perhaps this will get you started. -- Gary Patterson

MessageHello: Does anybody know how to set the tabs so that the indentions will be correct in the Braille document? They seem to vary. I am new to Word and am finding it to be a real pain! Any help would be appreciated. Don
