One of the most irritating functions in DBT is the paragraph recognition
always indented. It makes the user have to take an extra step to get a
left justified paragraph, no matter what you did in Word. I have had to
create a template to handle it. I have voiced my desire for Duxbury to
revive an old function in the Word Importer where you can set paragraph
style to none. We used to have that capability and I liked it because
DBT would recognize a paragraph just as it had been applied in Word. If
my paragraph in Word started at the left margin, then that was where it
started in DBT. I now use a template called block paragraph. As a DBT
trainer for my agency, I find it inconvenient to have to teach my staff
how to creat a template right up front.

Subject: [duxuser] Setting tabs in Word

Hello:

Does anybody know how to set the tabs so that the indentions will be
correct in the Braille document? They seem to vary. I am new to Word
and am finding it to be a real pain!

Any help would be appreciated.
