Hi Londa,

I can only speak from experience here in the UK, where UEB is the standard.

When you say "native speakers", what I guess we really need to know is if they 
are "Native Spanish braille readers".  If they are familiar with the braille 
produced in Spain, then you can begin with a Spanish Template.

In the example of a word such as Ándale, the upper case letter A acute is dot 6 
followed by dots 1,2,3,5,6

If not, I suspect you would have to use DBT's "Spanish" Style having begun with 
a UEB Template.

If you do, then the above would be dot 6 followed by 1,2,6 letter a.

Either way, so long as the text is accurate, you should be OK.

BTW, the word basically means "get going".

Hi All,
I am either looking for someone who can do this or for pointers if it's 
something I can do myself. I have had two requests in the last two days for 
Spanish Braille. This would be Braille for native speakers not textbooks. If 
there is a way that I can do this reliably with Duxbury and without actually 
knowing Spanish very well, let me know. If not, contact me at the email address
