Hello all Hoping someone can help me! I've been given the task of producing resources in Braille for a student who is learning Spanish at our college. The text arrives in Spanish, in Word 98 and then I put it through Duxbury. I open Duxbury, find the file, and select British no caps. When I translate (no translation codes), Duxbury reads the text correctly but with English contractions, and puts odd punctuation marks in for accented characters. When I select the Spanish translation code, Duxbury puts odd punctuation marks in the middle of many of the words. What am I doing wrong? I don't know any Spanish, and the Spanish teacher doesn't know Duxbury! The poor student doesn't know either, but she says that Spanish Braille is all in Grade 1. Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give me Cathy Wright Resources Manager RNIB New College WORCESTER UK wright@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * This message is via list duxuser at freelists.org. * To unsubscribe, send a blank message with * unsubscribe * as the subject to <duxuser-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
