Hi Gordon,
1. For spaced numbers, such as a telephone number, use a Hard Space
(Alt+F2). You will find this in DBT’s Layout menu: Character Codes. If
your document originates in Word, the hard space there is
Shift+Ctrl+SpaceBar.
2. I’m aware of this problem, but will need to do some research to
see if there’s an easy solution.
3. You might wish to create a new Style here being a copy of H2.
Then modify the [cp…] Beginning Code to [cp2:0], i.e. zero blank lines
before that heading Style.

Hello, I am using DBT 11.2 SR4 and am transcribing a book using the UEB
BANA template. I wonder if anyone can help with some questions:
- when print uses a number with a space instead of a comma it repeats the
number sign. Is there a code so it will use the numeric space symbol?
- the guideword style creates a dash (36,36), is there a way to change it
to a UEB dash (6,36)?
- how can I omit the blank line between a consecutive cell 5 and cell 7
heading when using the H2 and H3 styles? I have tried the [skn1:0] code but
with no luck.
Thanks,
Gord
