Hi Kuenga and all,

I should stress that Unified English Braille (UEB) is simply a braille Code -
NOTHING MORE! General formatting is not a UEB issue at all.

The different Duxbury Templates are just that - TEMPLATES - and they perform
the formatting of the braille on the page.

The formatting is normally decided on a national basis by the country's braille
authority, assuming there is one.

As a general rule, if you are unsure which Template to use, consider which one
you used previously, and select the nearest UEB equivalent.

If you require specific changes to a "nearly suitable" DBT Template, this can
be done and saved for your use. It may even be considered for inclusion in the
release software.

George

Hello Kuenga. If you want to emboss a document in English Unified Braille,
follow these steps.
1. Create your document using the English Unified Australian Formatting,
English Unified-Bana, English Unified-Basic or English Unified- UK formatting
template depending on where you live.
2. Translate your document.
3. Emboss your document.
You can also use any template and change the translation table from the
translation tables submenu which is located in the Document menu. The mnemonic
is alt+D,T.
I'm not sure when we will officially convert to Unified English Braille.

Hello,
You asked:
"When embossing in Duxbury should I pick English/Unified Braille or
English(American) Standard Literacy Format" how do we get those options?

When wechoose different types of documents, we usually get options such as:
English (American Textbook DE) - Textbook Format English (American) - Standard
Literary Format

Actually, what is the main difference between:
1. English/Unified Braille or English(American) Standard Literacy Format 2.
English (American Textbook DE) - Textbook Format 3. English (American) -
Standard Literary Format

Looking forward to hearing soon.

Hello,

When embossing in Duxbury should I pick English/Unified Braille or
English(American) Standard Literacy Format now that we are following the UEB
rules.
Thanks,
