Victoria,

The only way to "get out" of the Note style (or any other style, for that matter) is to position the cursor after the ending style code, in this case, </note.>. Otherwise, every code you type will either become part of the current note, or be ignored. To determine exactly where the style ending code is, press Alt+F3 to show codes. You will see something like this:

<note.>This is an example of a note.</note.>

Position the cursor immediately after the </note.> code, and press Alt+F3 again to make the codes disappear. You will now be able to continue writing with normal indentation.

Can someone help me understand what I am doing wrong here? Sometimes when I use DBT 10.5's "note" style, I can't get out of it! I've tried using the down arrow, the right arrow, Cntl + end, and everything I can think of. Yet when I start a new paragraph with Cntl + M, I get a new note! I've tried inserting Cntl + L to get new lines before and after the note but I still have this problem. I've also tried setting the ending code for the note style, {ind1} but it just won't end. Any suggestions?
