This is a case of "elementary, dear Watson" as Sherlock Holmes would say to Dr. Watson. Where you have embossers that need the number of lines per page to be specified as one of the parameters in any of their setup menus, you need to allow two extra lines over and above the maximum and desired lines per page that are specified in DBT. So, for example, if you are using paper that is 11 inches from perforation to perforation, you should specify 27 lines per page. In DBT, you should specify both the maximum and desired lines per page to be 25. By doing that, DBT becomes the controller as to when page breaks occur in any document. By the way, these are the settings I used to use when I owned my Enabling Technologies embossers. So I know they work. At present, with your embosser set to 25 lines per page and DBT's maximum lines per page also set to 25 lines per page, they both think that a new page is required. That is why you are probably getting multiple page breaks occurring in your documents, where you don't want them. I am not sure if this is the case with DBT, but with older versions of Duxbury products, such as DuxWp, the program used to issue a hard carriage return at the end of line 25 and then issue a hard page break. So, in fact, there were actually 26 lines per page, 25 lines of text, with a carriage return at the end of line 25 which produced a blank line 26, then the page break command.
