If you want the English/American translation tables to be the default,
then you should either use one of the standard templates (for example,
Standard or Textbook) that comes pre-configured with DBT, or else save
your own, making sure that you first select those tables. You can save
a template by selecting the Create Template option from the Document
menu (this option will also let you overwrite an existing template).
