Hi Scott,
Unfortunately you cannot open a PDF file in very much else other than Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. You definitely cannot open them in DBT.
However with Adobe Reader 7, you can often do a "Save As" from Adobe's file menu, and save as Text or HTML.
I say "often" because this feature is only available subject to the author's permission.
