Niel,

Can you explain what the extra importers do in the other importers the help is very lacking here. What I would actually like to do is take a pdf file and make it go straight in to Duxbury. Is this possible?

For those of you that wish to find answers to your questions regarding DBT,
or to be more proficient and efficient in your use of DBT . . .

You can also go to HELP>HELP TOPICS, and enter bold into the search field to
get many answers to dealing with bold and italics, etc.
The HELP system in DBT WIN 10.5 is quite extensive and user friendly with
answers and explanations for many many questions.

A stroll through the general HELP TOPICS can also be a great way of
exploring and learning about many areas of the program you may not have
explored. Including SWIFT AND THE WORD(BANA) TEMPLATE. These two
facilities alone can make you a much more efficient DBT user.

Just a thought,
Neal

Theresa,

There are codes for both italics and bolding, and they should appear
in the codes list. If they don't, it's probably because you've
inadvertently checked or unchecked one of the boxes in that dialog
that limits the code selection.

Is there a code or style for italics or Bold with Duxbury? I don't
see a code on the code list so I usually type the text that I am
translating and then go and add the italics or bold face code on the
braille translation before I emboss it. But it would be better if I
was able to add it to the print text before translating. So if
someone knows how, I would love to hear from them.

Thanks
