Subject: [duxuser] coming soon: "Technical Notes" section of the Duxbury
Systems website

Peter Sullivan has given approval for putting a "Technical Notes"
section on the Duxbury website.

This will be a page of links to short technical notes about installing
and using DBT 10.6.

To get it started, I will be reviewing recent traffic on duxuser to see
what topics come up again and again that suggest a place on our website.

As this develops, my hope is that some questions on duxuser can simply
be answered with a link to our website. I also hope that we can keep up
with the technical issues facing the DBT community.

Caryn Navy and I will edit these notes. I will say on the outset that we
will focus as much as possible on our current shipping versions of
software. If a problem comes up that is best solved by updating, then
that is the solution.

E-mail us at david@xxxxxxxxxx and caryn@xxxxxxxxxx for suggested topics.

Let me end with a real technical note.

The installation instruction for DBT 10.6 are located at our website. In
the last week, the Network Installation instructions have been
re-written to make them easier to follow. Anyone who is about to install
DBT 10.6 on a computer network should consult our website at
http://www.duxburysystems.com/raa/installation.htm
rather than relying on the DBT 10.6 helpfile.
