Hello Lisette.

I think that you need to uncheck the setting called "Active follows braille"
in the JAWS configuration file for DBT. From DBT, open the JAWS
Configuration manager by pressing Insert+F2 C <Enter>. Press Alt+S and
arrow up to Braille options. Uncheck the checkbox labeled "Active follows
braille" and press OK. Then press Control+S to Save the configuration and
Alt+F4 to close the Configuration manager. I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Caryn

Subject: [duxuser] duxbury and braille display issue

Hi folks
A few years ago somebody very helpfully told me how to get cell 1 in a dbt
file appearing in cell 1 of my focus braille display. Having just bought a
new computer, the same problem has arisen. I'm using DBT 10.7 with Jaws 10
and Vista, but the problem happened on my last pc with earlier versions of
Jaws, Windows and DBT.

I have status cells turned off, but sometimes cell 1 appears in cell 2 of
the braille line. Somebody on this list told me I had to tweak something in
in Duxbury itself to fix this and it worked. I thought I had saved the
message but can't find it.
My status cells are set to none in Jaws and I recall it being something I
had to do in Duxbury. Can anybody help?
Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards
Lisette
