The solution is probably nothing to do with Duxbury as such, but more general for all JAWS braille reading options. . Word Wrap needs to be turned off in the braille options. I sent a message in february of last year which is in the archive on this topic, and I have now re-sent it to lisette. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Caryn Navy" <caryn@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, March 21, 2009 8:21 PM Subject: [duxuser] Re: duxbury and braille display issue Hello Lisette. I think that you need to uncheck the setting called "Active follows braille" in the JAWS configuration file for DBT. From DBT, open the JAWS Configuration manager by pressing Insert+F2 C <Enter>. Press Alt+S and arrow up to Braille options. Uncheck the checkbox labeled "Active follows braille" and press OK. Then press Control+S to Save the configuration and Alt+F4 to close the Configuration manager. I hope this helps. Having just bought a new computer, the same problem has arisen. I'm using DBT 10.7 with Jaws 10 and Vista, but the problem happened on my last pc with earlier versions of Jaws, Windows and DBT. I have status cells turned off, but sometimes cell 1 appears in cell 2 of the braille line. Somebody on this list told me I had to tweak something in in Duxbury itself to fix this and it worked. I thought I had saved the message but can't find it. My status cells are set to none in Jaws and I recall it being something I had to do in Duxbury. Can anybody help? Many thanks in advance.
