You can use either the [d] or [q] codes to accomplish this.  To illustrate:
[d~5] [d~%]
or
[q~5] [q~%]

The contraction itself is entered as the parameter of the code in both cases. Note that you'll have to use the computer braille equivalent of what you want, so "en" is the number five, and "sh" is a percent sign (shift on the five).
