Hi Nadine,

Did you know your message arrived black on black. Tad
tricky for us sighted guys to read. (Smile)

You have reminded me of a possible solution to V and your
problem.

In DBT's Global menu, go to View Preferences, where you will
find an option to change which six keys are used for 6 key
input. The default shown there will be "sdfjkl",
representing dots 1 thru 6 respectively.

Now there is no guarantee, but for example, we found that
"qweop[" on the next keyboard row up worked on a Fujitsu
laptop. In fact, it was a more comfortable solution for the
user.

George.

Hi,

Sorry I can't help with the maths issue but I'm also having
the same problem about six key entry in duxbury 10.4 on my
laptop.

Cheers,

Nadine.

I am transcribing some sample tests for some
students and the duxbury 10.5 program spells the word for
the action in the problem instead of putting the sign in the
document. Can anyone help me to make the neccessary changes.
another problem is that I can't seem to get the six key
entry to work on my desktop. I have it checked in the menu
but when I try to edit an already translated file or even
one which has not been translated, it doesn't work. I would
greatly appreciate some assistance from anyone who knows how
to fix these problems.

        Thanks!
