paragraphs when importing text files is currently being
looked at and all being well, a solution will be in 10.5.

Apologies for the unfinished message - here is the rest of
it.
One of the problems that we have learned to live with but
which still dogs new users is the way that DBT sometimes
loses the ends of paragraphs when you are importing a text
only document. On this duxuser list various folk often
explain how to get around the problem by saving in other
formats or by changing the DBT import filter from "formatted
text" to "duxbury coded text"
or by cutting and pasting the text. My question is whether
or not this has been fixed in either 10.4 or 10.5 and if
not, whether it is on the list you are holding of things
that need fixing.

I'll answer on list for the benefit of others interested.
If you have DBT 10.4, then look for a file called DBT2.dot
in the c:\duxbury folder. There should also be a DBTW.DOC
file which explains how to install and run it.
If you don't have 10.4, then you can get download earlier
version from http://www.duxburysystems.com/freeware.asp
