Hi Ann,
You could modify the Paragraph style by inserting the [svprg1] as the
beginning code. If you do that, you'll have to create your own template
which you can use each time you open a new document. Alternatively, you
will have to modify the style for each document you create, which will
probably be more annoying than any of the other alternatives. I can walk
you through creating a template, although it's pretty easy.

You can do exactly what you want without modifying the paragraph style. At the very beginning of your document, enter the following code:
[svprg1]
This causes all subsequent paragraphs to begin at position 1 on the line. Incidentally, you can use this same code to change the way paragraphs are treated in both print and braille documents, but that's a bit more than you asked for, so I won't get into it unless you want me to.
