Jean, what you need is a different keyboard--cheaper, no frills. If your
keyboard won't do six-key entry, no gymnastics in software will help.

I just answered my own questionSmile. It's a simple braille editor like an
electronic Perkins, but Jaws reads the braille as Ascii braille. Plus is
doesn't help because I still can't use six-key entry.

Next question then. Can I hook up a BrailleNote and use that to input braille
directly into DBT or Perky? So instead of using the six-key entry, could I use
an external braille device for that?

Not sure if it's appropriate to ask, but since this is a Duxbury list...

Is Perky Duck accessible using Jaws? I can't use six-key entry with my
keyboard and am looking for an alternative for direct braille entry on the PC.
