You cannot ‘Print’ to an embosser. You need to install any drivers supplied
with the Index Everest-D V5 and connect to the machine to which Duxbury is
attached. In Duxbury you need to firstly choose your locale (language) for your
preferred Template (the default is UEB basic). Start Duxbury without creating
any file and go to ‘Global’ on the Menu bar and select ‘Embosser Setup’. It
will indicate that there is (No Target Embosser) so click on ‘New’. On the
General Tab, go to ‘Embosser Model’ field and from the drop-down menu select
‘Index Everest-D’. Next go to the ‘Device Settings’ Tab and select ‘ Version 5
in the ‘Embosser Version:’ field.
After you have setup the ‘Global Settings’ you should be good to go – but will
stand corrected if George has any additional information I may have missed.
John.
